Contrary to popular belief, not all water mist nozzles rely on high pressure for atomization. Generally, satisfactory atomization can be achieved at an operating pressure of 0.35 MPa.
In practical applications, water mist nozzles are typically used outdoors, and their operating pressure is related to their wind resistance. If wind resistance is poor, the starting operating pressure can be appropriately increased. Wind resistance varies depending on the nozzle model and specifications. Generally, centrifugal nozzles are better than impact nozzles; two-stage centrifugal nozzles are better than single-stage centrifugal nozzles; higher flow rates are better than lower flow rates; and smaller spray angles are better than larger spray angles.
