Water mist sprinklers, as fire protection products, require mandatory fire protection product certification (CCC certification). The newly revised "Implementation Rules for Mandatory Certification of Fire Protection Products," which came into effect on September 1, 2014, explicitly states that fire protection products need mandatory certification. Specific models, such as the K43, require CCC certification. As of the latest statistics, 38 companies have passed the mandatory fire protection product certification for water mist sprinklers.
The core national and industry testing standards for water mist sprinklers include GA 33-1992 "Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Water Mist Sprinklers in Automatic Sprinkler Systems" and GB 5135.3-2003 "Automatic Sprinkler Systems - Part 3: Water Mist Sprinklers."
The testing items mainly include flow rate, atomization angle, pressure resistance, sealing performance, and particle size distribution. The testing scope covers various types of water mist sprinklers, including open, closed, high-pressure fine water mist, and low-pressure spray types.
