To completely eliminate odor nuisances and bacterial proliferation inside wastewater plants, the high-pressure micro-mist purification project by Jinsheng Mist has been officially put into operation at a wastewater treatment plant in Sichuan. Equipped with 7 sets of industrial micro-mist main units that cover all odor sources across the plant, the system delivers integrated deodorization and sterilization. Relying on intelligent automatic atomization technology, it enables the plant to meet environmental emission standards while maintaining efficient operation.
Areas such as aeration tanks and liquid storage tanks in wastewater treatment plants continuously release hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, VOCs and other volatile organic compounds. Diffusing malodorous gases degrade the working environment for on-site inspectors and cause severe odor complaints from nearby residents. In addition, bioaerosols generated by wastewater aeration carry pathogenic bacteria, creating health hazards via airborne transmission. Furthermore, the wastewater workshop features highly corrosive conditions, round-the-clock operation and scattered odor sources, which impose strict requirements on the corrosion resistance and long-term automatic operation of deodorization and disinfection equipment. Conventional spray deodorization suffers from coarse mist droplets, low chemical utilization rate, incomplete coverage and vulnerable equipment prone to corrosion, failing to meet the regular governance demands of water treatment facilities.
Tailored to the unique operating challenges of the wastewater treatment industry, the project adopts professional micro-mist treatment equipment from Jinsheng Mist, fitted with corrosion-resistant industrial pump heads and anti-splash dust suppression nozzles. It atomizes compound bio-enzyme deodorants and broad-spectrum disinfectants into ultra-fine dry mist particles ranging from 10 to 20 micrometers. Atomized chemicals are precisely delivered to all odor sources throughout the plant via directional pipelines. Fine mist droplets fully capture, adsorb and decompose hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and volatile organic pollutants in the air, while continuously disinfecting bioaerosols produced by wastewater aeration. This blocks airborne pathogen transmission at the source and achieves dual effects of deodorization and bacteria inhibition simultaneously.

The whole system is equipped with a PLC intelligent linkage control module. It can link the startup and shutdown of plant fans and real-time water quality monitoring data to realize all-weather automatic precise chemical dosing and spraying without on-site manual attendance. The equipment body features superior corrosion and moisture resistance to support non-stop operation in wastewater plants. Chemical agents undergo full reactions without secondary pollution. While guaranteeing stable waste gas treatment performance, the system greatly cuts chemical consumption and labor maintenance costs. After commissioning, the odor concentration inside the plant has dropped significantly, and the air quality in workshop areas is comprehensively improved. It builds a solid health defense line for frontline inspection staff and thoroughly resolves odor disturbances for surrounding residents, balancing environmental governance and efficient plant production.
Moving forward, Jinsheng Mist will keep upgrading its intelligent atomization treatment equipment, and provide standardized integrated deodorization and epidemic prevention solutions for wastewater treatment, municipal sanitation, agricultural trade, livestock breeding and other sectors, continuously supporting the green and low-carbon transformation of various industries.
